Prairie View A&M University-Master of Business Adminstration

According to a December 2013 poll of employers of business school graduates, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) reports that job prospects and base salary expectations in 2014 for degree holders with a Master of Business Administration are projected to be strong across all business sectors. The report also states that prospective employers want business graduates who exhibit outstanding interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to make data-driven decisions. The GMAC report further demonstrates that out of all types of master’s degrees to hold, the Master of Business Administration comes out on top compared to other types of master’s degrees in terms of projected business hires in the United States. According to the Houston Chronicle, top fields where MBA degrees are desired include health care, consulting, banking and management. This optimistic outlook for business graduates is noted in spite of the economy, indicating that having a Master of Business Administration is a good choice when considering what type of professional degree to pursue.
